Our direct Roving products are of the single end roving type, and provide outstanding performance in weaving. Weaving allows the production of planar Reinforcements (woven roving, multi-axial, various stitched fabrics, grids) used in the composites market.

Single-End Rovings (Type 30®)Single-End Rovings are reinforcement products for filament winding, long-fiber thermoplastics, pultrusion, knitting and weaving applications with polyester (UP), vinylester (VE), epoxy (EP), phenolic (PN), polypropylene (PP), polyamide (PA) resin systems.
Single-End Rovings are produced by pulling individual fibers directly from the bushing and winding them onto a roving package ready for shipment. The uniform distribution of a proprietary sizing system ensures an excellent resin-to-glass binding through uniform distribution of the binding agent.
SE 1200Single-End Rovings are produced by pulling individual fibers directly from the bushing and winding them onto a roving package ready for shipment. The uniform distribution of a proprietary sizing system ensures an excellent resin-toglass binding through uniform distribution of the binding agent. This results in maximum strand integrity. Single-End Rovings are manufactured using the T30® Roving state-of-the-art technology of Owens Corning, in conjunction with statistical process control in manufacturing facilities certified to ISO 9001.
SE1500SE 1500 roving is specially designed for use in weaving and knitting operations where end use applications contain epoxy resins (anhydride and amine systems). It is not recommended to use SE 1500 Single-End Roving with non-epoxy resins.
SE 1500 roving is designed for applications such as woven, knitted, and multiaxial fabrics or pre-pregs, where enhanced fatigue performances are needed, such as automotive leaf springs and windmill blades SE 1500 roving is also suitable for use in filament wound pipe, tubes or tanks

P9HT High Performance R-GlassP9HT Rovings are intended for production of composites structures requiring excellent mechanical performance in static and in fatigue. P9HT multi-end rovings are made from R-Glass, manufactured from a collection of continuous glass fibers which are gathered without intentional twist into a single roving. P9HT Rovings are coated with a silane type based sizing, and are specially designed for epoxy matrix composites.
P109 High Performance Glass R-GlassP109 multi-end rovings are made from R-Glass basic strands (or ends), assembled with no intentional twist. R-Glass provide high mechanical properties. P109 Rovings are coated with a silane based sizing which makes it compatible with most commonly used thermoset resins, typically epoxy ones. P109 Rovings are intented for production of aeronautic composite structures, with exceptional static and fatigue strengths, and high modulus strengths.
